Fund Raising
Fundraising is an important activity at Loyola and is highlighted by our major fundraiser, “A Taste of Italy”. Now in its third year, TOI has been a fun-filled, night of entertainment and education for all those attending. In 2007, the event was held away from the school for the first time at The Event Center in Denver and was highly successful. The date for 2008 is Saturday, April 5th.
Non-public schools are an opportunity for parents to select the educational systems and programs they prefer for their children. This is part of the American way, and a precious freedom for us all. However, those who so choose a non-public school also assume the responsibility for paying tuition costs. Tuition rates charged by the school are approximately 60% of the total cost of educating the child. The other 40% is paid by fundraisers. Loyola has several fundraisers during the school year. Each family is responsible for working with their children to raise money during these fundraisers.
We are excited to tell you that our Taste of Italy will be held this year on Saturday, April 5th at the Renaissance Hotel, on 3801 Quebec. This new venue will have more room for our guests, has covered parking and valet service and will be a wonderful location for our fund-raiser.
