- The small teacher-to-student ratio in each classroom enables the staff to develop a curriculum that is tailored to the student’s needs and emphasizes strong faith formation in every student. Our current student-teacher ratio is 16-1. Loyola maintains one class per grade, Kindergarten through Sixth grades. Small classes are a drawing point for parents to send their children to Loyola to enable individualized attention to each student in the classroom.
- Our curriculum offers students learning opportunities in traditional Catholic education, math, language arts, science, geography, history, music, art, Spanish and computer science. Learning Labs (Math and Reading) are a vital aspect of Loyola’s educational picture.
- The Special Education program (Learning Labs) is unique to Loyola School and valued by the Archdiocese of Denver. The program provides for the special needs of the exceptional child academic, emotional, behavioral. The main objectives include the building of self concepts, increasing productivity and enhancing the learning environment with highly motivating instructional materials.
- Loyola responds to the demographics of the community and has developed a strong African-American awareness throughout the entire school year.
- Strong interaction with parents and the entire school community is an integral part of Loyola and is in evidence through mandatory parent meetings, parent/teacher/student conferences, and Loyola’s open door policy.
- We provide a quality before-and-after school program run by TLB Tutoring, and Ms. Tammi Benefield. Supervision begins at 7:00 AM each school day with extended day care from 2:45 6:00 PM. The program is state licensed, and pre-registration is required.
- The strong Christian atmosphere at Loyola is evident through the various physical representations of the Living Christ throughout the Ministry of the school
